Oleodinamica Marchesini V0818/VU normally open end-of-stroke valve with check

Oleodinamica Marchesini V0818/VU is a normally open, mechanically operated end-of-stroke valve with an integral check-valve path. The exact manufacturer tables identify the V-121 NA-VU execution, with a 350 bar maximum component pressure and 60 l/min maximum flow.

The valve is used to interrupt flow at the end of an actuator stroke. Its steel body contains hardened and ground steel internal parts and standard BUNA-N seals. Both manufacturer editions specify a 15 mm maximum spool stroke. Their English instructions say closing starts after 4 mm; the Italian wording refers to closure after 4 mm. A verified full shut-off stroke is not assigned.

The source instructions disagree on which P/A flow direction is blocked during actuation. They also differ on push-only versus pull-or-push operation, sealing-element design and body finish. This profile therefore does not certify a blocked/free-flow direction, pull operation, poppet or ball construction, a plating finish or a zero-leakage rating. The /VU code is retained as the check-valve execution and is distinct from the unsuffixed valve.

The current manufacturer row, type designation and selected supplier offers identify a nominal 1/2 inch BSP execution. An earlier manufacturer dimensional-table column instead prints G 3/8 for this same code while its type still states 1/2. The conflicting port size is disclosed here and is not assigned as a verified connection filter.
