Oleodinamica Marchesini V0508/RU VAA/RU 1/2 cross-line relief valve

Oleodinamica Marchesini V0508/RU (VAA/RU 1/2) is a cross-line relief valve with a maximum flow of 60 l/min and a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar. The factory-listed mass is 2.182 kg. The maximum pressure is a component limit, distinct from the selected spring range and actual relief setting.

A single common adjustment limits pressure in both actuator lines, with check valves to reduce cavitation during braking of an overrunning load. The factory table gives a 50–300 bar setting range. Main and tank connections are G 1/2. The manufacturer recommends installation near the actuator and an external check valve at T with a minimum cracking pressure of 3 bar. Follow the repeated V1/V2 port labels in the original diagram to distinguish supply and actuator sides.

Internal parts are hardened and ground steel, with standard BUNA-N seals and a guided-poppet construction. The original pressure/flow curves use oil at 50 °C and 30 cSt; these are curve reference conditions, not an established operating-temperature range.
