Oleodinamica Marchesini V0389 VBCD 1/4 DE A CC double counterbalance valve

Oleodinamica Marchesini V0389 is the VBCD 1/4 DE A CC double counterbalance valve, with maximum flow of 20 l/min and the factory pilot-ratio designation 1:4.5. The factory maximum operating pressure is 350 bar.

The counterbalance element holds an overrunning actuator and meters its return flow when pilot pressure is applied. The two counterbalance branches control and hold the actuator in both directions; the crossed pilot connections open the return-side branch during commanded movement.

V0389 is the 1/4" BSP closed-centre Type A execution. The manufacturer describes it as suitable where back pressure prevents an ordinary overcentre valve from controlling the load correctly, including the illustrated series-actuator use. Connect V1/V2 to supply and C1/C2 to the actuator. Use the original CC hydraulic symbol rather than substituting a standard Type A circuit.

The catalogue standard setting is 320 bar, separate from the component maximum pressure and from the actual setting of a delivered unit. The manufacturer specifies a setting at least 1.3 times the load-induced pressure to allow the valve to close under maximum load. Apply that guidance to the machine circuit rather than treating it as a new order-code combination.
