Oleodinamica Marchesini V0317 VBCD 1/4 SE PB single counterbalance valve

Oleodinamica Marchesini V0317 is the VBCD 1/4 SE PB single counterbalance valve, with maximum flow of 25 l/min and the factory pilot-ratio designation 1:4.25. The factory maximum operating pressure is 350 bar.

The counterbalance element holds an overrunning actuator and meters its return flow when pilot pressure is applied. Only the specified actuator line is controlled; the other line provides the separate free-flow and pilot path shown in the original circuit.

This is the 1/4" BSP partially balanced single-counterbalance version for a closed-centre directional valve. Connect V1/V2 to supply, C1 to the free-flow side of the actuator and C2 to the side requiring controlled load holding. The manufacturer describes the setting and pilot response as insensitive to back pressure for this circuit. Its pilot ratio is 1:4.25, distinct from the 1:4.5 Type A series.
