Oleodinamica Marchesini V0231 VBPSE 3/8 PS single pilot-operated check valve

Oleodinamica Marchesini V0231 (VBPSE 3/8 PS) is a single pilot-operated check valve with a maximum flow rating of 35 l/min and a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar. The original factory table specifies a pilot ratio of 1:12 and a check-valve cracking pressure of 3 bar.

The check section retains the actuator in one direction, with free supply flow and reverse flow released by hydraulic pilot pressure. Connect V1/V2 to the supply, C1 to the free-flow actuator side and C2 to the retained actuator side, following the original schematic.

The supply and actuator connections are 3/8" BSP. Refer to the original drawing for the type-specific port arrangement and dimensions.

The separate-pilot construction is specified as insensitive to back pressure on V2. The manufacturer illustrates use on parallel cylinders together with a sequence valve; that separate circuit valve is not part of this article. The factory lists the body materials as aluminium and steel without assigning each material to a particular body component.

The manufacturer specifies hardened and ground steel internal parts, standard BUNA N seals and a guided-poppet check element with negligible leakage. The original curves use oil at 50 °C and 30 cSt; these are test reference conditions, rather than an operating-temperature or viscosity range.
