Description

The AKG TC-115 is a normally open temperature switch for controlling an oil-cooler DC fan through a suitable relay and fuse. It closes on rising temperature at the published 115°F set point and is intended for the drain port of compatible cooler assemblies.

This execution uses deutsch connector, a brass switch body, nylon housing and a 3/4-16 UNF process thread. Its published contact-current limit is 5 A; this is a switch rating, not a fan power rating. The manufacturer recommends relaying and fusing both the temperature switch and fan.
