Hydraulic cylinder pistons separate the working chambers and transfer hydraulic force to the piston rod. Compare piston diameter, bore, attachment thread, width and seal-groove geometry for the cylinder design.
Select compatible seals and material for the fluid, temperature and duty. A component series pressure does not establish the operating rating of a complete cylinder.
