Bladder accumulators store hydraulic energy by compressing nitrogen behind an elastic bladder. They support intermittent energy demand, leakage compensation, emergency reserve and damping of pressure pulsations.
Select nominal volume, permissible operating pressure, bladder/fluid compatibility and connection geometry together. Effective gas volume is not the usable hydraulic oil volume: usable volume depends on precharge, operating pressures and temperature. Mounting and separately selected isolation/safety equipment must match the installation.
